Our entrance is located on the south side of our building, on 4th south. Our entrance has two lion statues in front. Enter the door code included in your confirmation email that was sent to you upon booking. Head up to the third floor, and the correlating studio door will be unlocked for you already either in person, or remotely from our smart lock.
Please confirm you are at the correct door of the studio you rented before walking inside to avoid intruding on another renters shoot. The Flat has a white door and will be right in front of you as you get to the top of the stairs. The Loft has a sage colored door and is to your right just down the hall.

There is metered street parking along our block, a metered parking lot across the street by Planet Fitness or a metered parking garage behind us in exchange place that you can use to park. Closest parking will be the street parking on the east side of our building on state street.
If you are staying longer than two hours, we recommend you park in the parking garage behind us in Exchange Place or the metered parking lot across the street between our building and Planet Fitness. That way you don’t have to worry about going down to re-pay for the street meter in the middle of your shoot.
If you have a lot to load into the studio, please let us know beforehand and we will direct you on where you can park your car momentarily that is nearest our entrance and we will help you unload.

You are welcome to arrive early and unload/hang out in the waiting area in our building. But all setup and take down in the studio space needs to happen within your rented time slot so it does not affect the rentals happening before and after your slot.

We love pets! As long as they are well-behaved and are not destructive to the space, we highly encourage you to bring in your furry friends. Just be sure to let us know beforehand while booking in the appointment notes section so we know not to bring our dog in as well that day.

Unfortunately we do not. Being housed in one of SLC’s remaining historical buildings comes with its pros and cons, accessibility being one of them.
If you need help unloading items into the spaces, please let us know beforehand and we are happy to help!

In the loft, we can absolutely block out windows. We are currently working on a permanent window diffusion/blackout curtain system for both The Loft and The Flat.
For now, we recommend familiarizing yourself with our lighting schedules to work with the natural light as we wrap up the finishing touches on the spaces.
Let us know ahead of time in your appointment booking if you’d like adjustments to window light and we can accommodate your needs.
